Tips protect their children



Parents can protect their children from Internet predators and adult material by following some simple safety tips.

Insist that your children take the following precautions when connecting:

  • should not be divulging any personal information such as address, telephone number, name and address of the school. Should always use a fake name.

  • should not share personal photographs sent by mail or scanned photographs on the Internet.
  • Never reply to messages in a threatening tone.

A good way to protect your children is to teach them how to use the Internet safely. The Internet provides very useful and can help their children expand their horizons in ways unknown to previous generations. If you play an active role when their children surfing the Internet, ensure that they reap the maximum benefit of information suitable for children offered by the Internet.
